Art is life as life is art. To a large extent both are what we make of them. My journeys to Kauai are an attempt to make them both real and meaningful. I look forward to my next.

The Kauai Light Zone

Submitted for your visual enjoyment is an island blend of representational, impressionist, and expressionist elements, with a touch of the surreal. Focusing on Kauai, Hawaii it is a series of images that is an expression of my experience.

It is a work in progress. I am going to continue to experiment. Some of the photographs may be translated into pastels and/or paintings. Others could possibly be printed. Time will tell.
